AT THE TIP
  • St. Joe's is back on Hawk Hill for a two-game homestand against Midwest opposition, welcoming Saint Louis to Hagan Arena on Wednesday evening for its annual Play4Kay game.
  • The Hawks have won six-consecutive games, one win shy of matching the longest win streak of the season.

LAST TIME OUT
  • The Saint Joseph's women's basketball team earned its sixth-consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon, collecting a 57-42 win over George Washington inside the Charles E. Smith Center.
  • St. Joe's overcame a 3-12 mark in the first quarter, using a 10-2 run to start the second quarter to take its first lead of the game and never look back after a 29-22 halftime lead. The Hawks made eight of their final 10 attempts of the third quarter to enter the fourth on a 17-4 run with a 48-31 lead. The Hawk advantage never dipped below 15 as St. Joe's earned its sixth-consecutive win.
  • Laura Ziegler led the way with a game-high 20 points on the afternoon, one rebound shy of her 17th double-double of the season. Aleah Snead added 16 points with five rebounds and four assists.

  • Laura Ziegler was named to the USBWA's Ann Meyers Drysdale Player of the Year Award Watch List this week.
  • The Danish forward has scored 10+ points in 21 of 22 games this season after a 20-point outing at George Washington. The junior is second all-time in program history with 37 double-doubles in her career.
  • Ziegler ranks fourth in the country with 11.9 rebounds per game, while her 10.1 defensive boards per contest leads the NCAA.
  • Mackenzie Smith and Talya Brugler were named to the watch list for the 2025 Women's College All-Star Game presented by Herbalife, awarded to players in their final years of eligibility. 
  • Mackenzie Smith has registered 12 games this season with 15+ points.
  • Ziegler and Smith rank in the top 10 in scoring in the conference, Smith currently third in A-10 in three-point percentage (43.4%).
  • Aleah Snead comes off her first Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors, averaging 19.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals over the past two games.
  • St. Joe's shoots 36.2% from three on the season, ranking 21st in the NCAA.

  • Aleah Snead recorded career-highs in points (22), field goals made (9), field goals attempted (12) and steals (5) in the past two games.
  • Mackenzie Smith is 18 rebounds shy of becoming the third player on the team to reach 500 career rebounds, Laura Ziegler and Talya Brugler the 23rd and 24th Hawk in program history to reach 500 rebounds in their career.
  • Brugler is 25 points shy of entering top five in program history in scoring, while Mackenzie Smith ranks 10th in school history with 1,428 career points.

SERIES REWIND
  • One of the closest matchups in program history, the Hawks enter Wednesday night with a narrow 12-11 advantage in the series against Saint Louis heading into the 24th meeting between the teams.
  • The series is deadlocked both in St. Louis and at a neutral court, the Hawks holding a 6-5 record inside Philadelphia.
  • St. Joe's opened with eight wins in the first nine games of the series before defeats in nine of the next 11 games.
  • The Hawks have earned wins in each of the last two regular season contests.
