HOW IT HAPPENED

• Saint Joseph's (23-26 overall, 16-13 Atlantic 10) equalized in the fourth. Kelsey was hit by a pitch before Myers singled;

Blake Primrose walked to load the bases for
Carson Applegate, who drew a walk to force in Myers and tie the game.
Â
• Another RBI single by Moroney put the Rams on top in the fifth, but a bases-loaded balk by URI's Braden Perry scored a run for SJU to tie the game at 4-4.
Â
• Rhode Island went back in front in the sixth on a two-run single by Brody McKenzie and tacked on two more in the eighth consecutive singles by DePino and Eric Genther. URI then added eight more in the ninth to put the game out of reach.
