• Saint Joseph's (3-2) had the lone shot of the first quarter as neither team was able to find the cage. It was more of the same in the second, with each side adding one shot to the ledger heading into the break.

• Maryland (4-2) outshot the Hawks 5-1 in the third, but the SJU defense held off the Terrapins through the end of the frame and well into the fourth.

• Ella Gaitan broke the deadlock for Maryland in the last 30 seconds, converting on a penalty corner for the game's lone goal.
