OPENING TIP
Saint Joseph's heads back on the road Wednesday, carrying a five-game winning streak into its matchup with Davidson.
The Hawks opened 2026 with a convincing 78-49 road victory at Fordham.
Gabby Casey led the way with 19 points while adding game-highs of seven assists, seven rebounds and three steals. Saint Joseph's is 22-5 when Casey scores in double figures.
Aleah Snead added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists, while
Faith Stinson finished with 10 points, five rebounds and two blocks.
Saint Joseph's shot above 50 percent for the third time in its last five games, using a 14-for-22 effort (63.6 percent) in the second half to extend the lead to as many as 30 points. The Hawks are shooting 49.2 percent in the second half this season, more than seven percentage points higher than their first-half mark.
In conference play, 81.5 percent of Saint Joseph's made field goals have been assisted.
STOKES DELIVERING GIFTS
Stokes became the 13th player in the country this season to record at least 10 points and 10 assists without committing a turnover. Since 2002-03, only Stokes and Natasha Cloud have accomplished the feat for the Hawks.
SHARING IS CARING
Saint Joseph's leads the nation with a 76.1 percent assist rate, assisting on 277 of its 364 made field goals through the first 14 games. Only six teams nationally have an assist rate above 70 percent, with Drake ranking second at 72.4 percent.
HEATING UP
The Hawks lead the Atlantic 10 in field goal percentage at 45.4 percent (48th nationally). Saint Joseph's also ranks among the nation's best from long range, shooting 35.5 percent from 3-point distance to rank 43rd in the country and third in the A-10.

The Hawks replace four players from last year's starting lineup. Only
Gabby Casey (33) entered the season having started seven or more games last year.

Saint Joseph's has 14 players on the 2025-26 roster, representing four states and three countries outside the United States.
Emirson Devenie (Australia) is the first Hawk to represent her country, while Meja Jägerskog (Sweden) and
Olivia Lutterodt (Denmark) are each the second player from their respective countries to join the program.
A local influx sees nine of the 14 Hawks come from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, while
Faith Stinson (Ohio) and
