MEDIA, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team kept up its winning ways on Saturday night, beating visiting Bucknell by a 4-2 score at the Springton Tennis Club.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Hawks took the first point of the night via a pair of doubles wins.
Othman Bezzaz and
Ernesto Ruy were winners in the second flight before
Jakob Gaudreau Barnes and
Sehaj Singh Pawar won their third-flight match to secure the point.
• The Bison drew level with a win in the first flight, but Ruy won the second to put the Hawks back on top. Another Bucknell win in the fifth left the match level at 2-2.
• Abdusamadov nudged the Hawks in front with a three-set win in the third flight, setting the table for Pawar to seal the deal with a straight-sets victory in the sixth.

"Tonight was another great night," head coach
Jeff Puhan said. "I'm really proud of these guys. Every day someone else steps up and that's what it takes. A nationally ranked win yesterday and today an NCAA tournament team. They are believing."
