LEONIA, N.J. – The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team returned to the water this weekend as the Hawks competed at the Jesuit Invitational.
How It Happened
• The Hawks' Varsity 8 opened the morning heat with the second fastest time down the course, 7:41.6, as it earned a sport in the Grand Final.
• Saint Joseph's battled Fordham down the course in the Grand Final as the Hawks crossed the line in 7:32.7, to place second just off the Rams' time.
• St. Joe's 2nd Varsity 8 advanced to the Petite Final where the Hawks completed the course in 8:08.5 for a second place finish.
