WASHINGTON, D.C. — Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse attacker Riley Bittinger has been named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
 
Bittinger totaled four goals and an assist across two games for the Hawks. The freshman recorded her first career goal and finished with a hat trick against Drexel, scoring on all three of her shot attempts in just the second game of her collegiate career.
 
She followed that performance with a goal and an assist in Saint Joseph's Atlantic 10 opener against Duquesne.
 
Bittinger's five-point week helped the Hawks to a split across the two contests. The Hawks return to action on Saturday, March 14 at George Mason.
