"We are very excited to welcome Maddy and her family to our Hawk family," said Coach Griffin. "Maddy brings a wealth of experience, both internationally and domestically, to our backcourt. Her size, strength and ability to shoot the ball will elevate and complement our talented roster. We can't wait to get her to Hawk Hill."
Potts appeared in 47 games over two seasons with the Orange, making three starts. The Australia native totaled 150 career points (3.2 ppg) while shooting nearly 35% from 3-point range (36-for-104). She also added 53 rebounds, 27 assists and 18 steals.

Potts made two starts in the NCAA Tournament, helping Syracuse to a first-round win over No. 8 Iowa State before a second-round loss to top-seeded UConn.
As a freshman, Potts posted her first double-figure performance with 11 points against Florida State and later recorded a season-high 13 points and five rebounds in her first career start against Clemson.
Potts enrolled early at Syracuse in January 2024 after graduating from Templestowe College in 2023.
