Saint Joseph's Athletics mourns the passing of Kathy MacDonald.

A longtime member of the Saint Joseph's athletics department, MacDonald joined the Hawks in 1978 and spent more than 40 years on Hawk Hill. She served as an administrative assistant in several areas and worked directly with the women's basketball program for more than a decade, beginning in 2008.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, Pennsylvania 19064, and on Tuesday, May 5, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at St. Dorothy's Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to St. Dorothy's Church in Drexel Hill, in Kathy's memory.
