Box Score COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Saint Joseph's field hockey team fell to seventh-ranked Maryland, 5-0, at Maryland's Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex on Sunday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Maryland (6-0) grabbed the lead after two and a half minutes through a shot from Babs Van Hest.
 
• Saint Joseph's (2-4) found its footing in the second as both teams would rip off four shots, but it was the Terrapins that would register the only goal as Francisca Eschoyez converted on a penalty corner.
 
• Eschoyez would convert a penalty stroke early in the third before Van Hest nabbed her second of the day to double the hosts' lead after three.
 
• Aida Ierubino finished off the scoring for the Terrapins in the fourth.
 
BEHIND THE BOX SCORE
• Avianna Wagner made a career-high 12 saves for the Hawks on Sunday, while Alyssa Klebasko made three for Maryland.
 
• The hosts held a 24-6 advantage in shots and an 11-1 edge in penalty corners.
