PHILADELPHIA –
Chelsea Leal recorded a penalty goal for a second consecutive game, but the Vermont Catamounts stunned the Saint Joseph's women's soccer team with a goal under one second remaining as UVM claimed a 2-1 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vermont opened the scoring early in the 13th minute to put the visitors up 1-0.
- Saint Joseph's answered back in the 55th minute after earning a opportunity inside the box. Chelsea Leal calmly converted the ensuing penalty kick to tie the match at 1-1. It is the second straight game with a PK tally for Leal.
- With the match seemingly headed for a draw, Vermont struck in the final second as with a shot to the lower right through traffic.
