Following his final collegiate cross country race: "After running for SJU cross country under Coach Glavin for four years, I have learned so much about myself as an athlete and a person. Running has become my passion and is always rewarding me through the good and the bad, and it has given me a strong sense of purpose. Coach Glavin is a huge reason for this, because he nurtures his athletes as people first, and then as athletes. Coach Glavin has turned my weakness in cross country into my strength, making me the athlete I am today, and I cannot thank him enough. Also, shoutout to all my teammates for being the best I could ever ask for."
Following his A-10 win: "I'm feeling awesome. It feels really good to come out as a senior and have something to put a title on after all of the work I put in this summer and this season. A little bit between 1k to go and the finish, I took the lead and noticed that [Ryan] Kutch fell three or four meters behind . . . I wanted to capitalize on that. Coming up the one-finger hill, he made a surge on me, and coming down the hill, I caught him but kept that momentum going all the way to the finish to consequently put a little bit of a gap in it. I'm so proud of everybody on the team. We had a lot of adversity that we had to face this season, but everybody really stepped up . . . I'm ecstatic for everyone. La Salle is a tough competitor and the A-10 is a really deep conference, and we really showed out today."
