    MATT MARTUCCI
    Matt Martucci enters his first season as the primary play-by-play announcer and will handle the broadcasts for all Hawks' contests this season. He has been with the Saint Joseph's Sports Network since 2006 and had previously been the backup play-by-play announcer for men's basketball games. He also served as the primary announcer for women's basketball game broadcasts over the internet.

    Martucci has worked as the producer for both Phil Martelli's HawkTalk television and radio shows for the past three years and while also developing video content for www.sjuhawks.com.

    A 2006 graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications, he was the director of broadcasting/account executive for the minor league baseball team the Atlantic City Surf for two seasons. Martucci has broadcast college basketball and football for Lincoln University, Lock Haven University, Syracuse University, in addition to high school football in Williamsport, Pa.

    Martucci began his broadcasting career with WAER at Syracuse University, and has also worked with ESPN Radio 1450 in Atlantic City.

    A native of Brodheadsville, Pa., he is currently pursuing his master's in business administration from Saint Joseph's.


    JOE LUNARDI
    Joe Lunardi, assistant vice president for marketing communications at Saint Joseph's, has worked for the Saint Joseph's Sports Network for 19 seasons. In his position at the University, he oversees institutional marketing and branding, program advertising, web content, and other integrated communications initiatives.

    A 1982 graduate of Saint Joseph's, Lunardi returned to his alma mater in 1987 as director of media relations. He has also served as director of external relations, director of university communications, and assistant vice president for university communications. He was named to his current post in August, 2006.

    Away from the University, Lunardi is the nationally-known "bracketologist" for ESPN, ESPN Radio, and ESPN.com. His ESPN.com bracketology site generates over 10 million hits per season. He correctly forecast all 65 NCAA Tournament teams last season and has covered over 750 Hawk games in his career.

    In 1995 and 2004, Lunardi received the William J. Bennett Award for dedication and loyalty to the SJU men's basketball program. Lunardi and his wife, Pam, a 1984 SJU graduate, reside in Drexel Hill, Pa., with their daughters, Emily and Elizabeth.


    RENIE SHIELDS
    Renie Shields, director of compliance services at Saint Joseph's, has provided analysis on Hawks' women's basketball broadcasts for 15 years.

    Shields is a former standout on the hardwood for the Hawks from 1979 to 1982 and a member oof the SJU coaching staff from 1987-88 through 1992-93.

    A Saint Joseph's and Philadelphia Big 5 Hall of Famer, Shields is responsible for all women's basketball non-conference scheduling and serves as coordinator for the annual Hawk Classic.

    Shields resides in Drexel Hill, PA, with her husband Jim, a 1981 Saint Joseph's graduate, and their four children - James, Jr., Kerri, Erin, and Shannon.


    JACK JUMPER
    Jack Jumper, the associate director of athletic communications at Saint Joseph's for the past five years, is the play-by-play voice of Hawk women's basketball for all road games. Jumper earned a bachelor's degree from St. Bonaventure University in 2002. He previously served as the assistant sports information director at his alma mater. He received his master's degree in writing studies from Saint Joseph's.
