Jeremy Hileman returns for his second season as the Hawks' pitching coach in 2025.

In his first season at Saint Joseph's, Hileman helped guide sophomore Ryan DeSanto to Second Team All-Conference honors and a place on the All-Atlantic 10 Championship Team.  The pitching staff shattered the program record for strikeouts in a season, while sophomore Will McCausland set a new single-season strikeout mark as well.  Juniors Matt McShane (13th Round, Pittsburgh Pirates) and Luke Gabrysh (15th Round, Philadelphia Phillies) would go on to be selected in the 2024 Major League Baseball Draft.

Hileman came to Hawk Hill after a season at Army West Point, where he also served as the pitching coach.  The Black Knights posted an impressive 38-18 overall record and were runaway winners of the Patriot League regular season title at 21-4 in conference play; Army claimed the tournament title as well and played in the Charlottesville Regional in the NCAA Tournament.  Under Hileman’s tutelage, Tanner Gresham earned Patriot League Pitcher of the Year honors and was joined on the All-League First Team by starters Matthew Ronnebaum and Mike Ruggieri and reliever Robbie Buecker.

Prior to his stint at West Point, Hileman spent time as the pitching coach at both Shippensburg and Canisius and was the Director of Pitching Initiatives at FullReps Training Center in Camp Hill, Pa.  Hailing from the Harrisburg area, he is a 2019 graduate of Kutztown University.
