Before Hawk Hill: Spent his freshman season at Rutgers...Made his collegiate debut at Smithson Field with the Scarlet Knights...Missed his senior year at Egg Harbor Township due to injury...Earned Third Team All-Group honors as a junior after striking out 75 hitters in 49.2 innings and posting a 2.40 ERA...Also hit .347 with three home runs at the plate...Struck out 56 in 38.1 innings with a 1.46 ERA as a sophomore...Named to the Carpenter Cup squad twice...Earned National Honor Society laurels...Also played for the South Jersey Young Guns travel program.
