Evangelos (Evan) Regas joined the Hawks as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in August 2022 and was promoted to Associate Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2024.  Regas works with the men's soccer, men's and women's tennis, baseball, and women's lacrosse programs at Saint Joseph's.

Prior to coming to Hawk Hill, Regas spent time at Wagner College as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach. While at Wagner, he worked with the 2022 MAAC champion women's water polo team and the men's lacrosse team while also assisting with the football team. In addition, he also worked with the men's water polo, men's tennis, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's golf, and baseball teams during his time on Staten Island.

Before Wagner, Regas was the head strength and conditioning coach at Camden Catholic High School in Camden County, New Jersey. He worked primarily with the football team, helping develop proper techniques and movement patterns, as well as overseeing their conditioning. In addition, Regas has been a personal trainer in the Philadelphia area since 2015, having stops at Philly Phitness and Forza Wellness.

Regas is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a Level One Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. He is also active in fundraising in the battle against breast cancer.

The Toms River, N.J., native earned his degree in kinesiology with a focus in exercise and sport science from Temple University. While at Temple, he was a three-year letterwinner on the  Owls' football team as well as being heavily involved with the Philadelphia chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.


Evan lives in New Jersey with his girlfriend, Grace, and Zoey, their 10-year old dog who was rescued from the Philadelphia SPCA.
