Mark Wadsley returns to the Saint Joseph's sideline for a third season in 2025 as the Hawks' associate head coach.

During the 2024 season, Wadsley was part of the NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year as he helped guide the Hawks to the NCAA national championship game.  Along the way, the Hawks earned their fourth consecutive Atlantic 10 postseason title, the program's highest-ever poll ranking of third in the nation, and the program's first-ever Final Four appearance.

In his first season on Hawk Hill, Wadsley helped guide the Hawks to their third consecutive sweep of the Atlantic 10 regular season and postseason titles and their sixth NCAA Tournament berth in seven seasons.

Wadsley came to Hawk Hill from Repton Hockey Club, where he had been the Head of Performance since January 2022.  He also served as the head coach of Repton's top women's indoor and outdoor teams; the indoor squad claimed the Indoor Premier League national championship and qualified for next season's European club championship.

Prior to his stint with Repton, Wadsley spent time working with the staff at the University of Louisville in a remote role, assisting in recruiting and scouting efforts among other responsibilities.  He has also served as the head coach of the top men's squad at Beeston Hockey Club and the women's program at Nottingham Trent University.

On the international level, Wadsley worked with England Hockey as a Performance Centre head coach at the Nottingham Performance Centre, where he helped develop junior players on their path to the national team.

Wadsley boasts a wealth of playing experience as well, having made 245 appearances for Beeston, earning eight domestic trophies and participating in the European Hockey League on six occasions, reaching four quarterfinals.  He also earned more than 50 caps in the England junior national team setup.

A native of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, Wadsley holds academic degrees from both the University of Birmingham and the University of Stirling; he has also earned Level One, Two, and Three England Hockey Coaching Certificates.  He has also spent time with the PowerHouse club program and is active with Prince Elite Field Hockey Club.
