One of the top offensive players in Saint Joseph’s history, Monica Aguilar begins her first season as a graduate assistant with the Hawks in 2014.

Starting for the Hawks from 2009-13, Aguilar led the Hawks to five-straight conference tournaments and three Atlantic 10 Championship games. A stellar played at third base and at the plate, She capped her career second all-time in SJU history in walks (73), third in RBIs (116), fifth in runs (113) and home runs (20) and seventh in hits (177). The 2009 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year, she earned A-10 All-Conference honors in 2009, 2011 and 2013.

A native of Buena Park, California, Aguilar was a four-year All-Empire League selection at John F. Kennedy High School, leading the team to a 109-14 mark over her four years. A four-time ASA National Champion, she led the USA Athletics to national ASA titles at 10-U, 12-U, 14-U and guided the 16-U OC Batbusters to a national title.
