Katie Kuester '12 returns for her second season as an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's in 2019-20. Promoted to assistant coach in June of 2018, Kuester previously served as director of basketball operations for three seasons at SJU.

Spending 2014-15 as a member of Joe Logan's staff at Loyola Maryland, she helped in the development of a pair of All-Patriot League honorees.

One of the top shooters in Saint Joseph's history, Kuester finished her career in the program's top 10 for three-pointers (167) and free throw percentage (.861). Named to the All-Big 5 Second Team in 2010-11, she was also a standout off the court, earning Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Saint Joseph's Athletic Director's Honor Roll recognition.

Following graduation, the Media, Pa., native served as director of basketball operations at Lehigh University before moving on to the role of video coordinator at the University of North Carolina in 2013-14.
