Bauman joined the staff prior to the 2025-26 season following an accomplished collegiate playing career at Babson College and New York University.
 
Following her graduation from NYU, Bauman spent a year as a data analytics consultant with the Kraft Analytics Group and has worked the past two summers with USA Basketball. She served as the video coordinator for the 2025 USA U16 national team that captured gold at the FIBA AmeriCup, and was also on staff for the 2025 Nike Hoop Summit. In 2024, Bauman was the video coordinator for the USA U17 World Cup team, which also won gold.
 
Bauman was selected for the prestigious WBCA “So You Want to Be a Coach” program in 2024. In addition to her coaching development, she has spent the past two years working as a player development trainer, training both high school and collegiate athletes.
 
Bauman was the starting point guard for NYU’s undefeated 2024 NCAA Division III National Championship team, helping lead the Violets to a perfect 31–0 season and earning First Team All-UAA honors. Prior to NYU, she was a four-year starter and three-year captain at Babson College, where she totaled 1,234 points and a program-record 458 assists. Bauman helped lead the Beavers to multiple postseason appearances, including a run to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight in her senior year. That season, she led all of Division III in assists (183) and free throw percentage (.930). She graduated as Babson’s all-time and single-season assists leader and holds the program record for career free throw percentage (89.1%). Her accolades include D3hoops.com All-America Third Team, three-time WBCA All-America Honorable Mention, and multiple all-conference and all-region honors.
