TiAna Jones enters her second season as video specialist on Cindy Griffin's staff in 2022-23 after being hired in July of 2021.

Jones arrives on Hawk Hill by way of Faulkner University, an NAIA school located in Montgomery, Ala.

Beginning work as a graduate assistant coach for the varsity squad and assistant coach for the junior varsity squad in August of 2020, Jones was responsible for guard development, offensive schemes, and the creation of scouting reports. She coached the Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Year as well as All-First Team, All-Second Team, and All-Rookie Team players. Jones implemented offensive schemes that led to the highest points per game scoring average in program history, developed an All-American candidate, and assisted with recruiting efforts, as well as the coordination of travel and meal arrangements.

Immediately preceding her time at Faulkner, Jones had  a ten-month stint as an assistant coach at SUNY Canton, a Division III school located in Canton, N.Y.

Jones was responsible for teaching skills/strategies during practices and games, creating social media content, and monitoring academic progress and performance.

Jones is a 2018 graduate of Drexel University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in sport management while minoring in both business administration and communications.

While attending Drexel, Jones served as women's basketball associate head manager from 2014-2018. During that time, she also worked for EV Hoops as an assistant for their basketball operations department.

Jones earned her MBA from Faulkner University in August of 2021.
