PHILADELPHIA, PA (11/11/03) - Saint Joseph's point guard Jameer Nelson will participate in The ESPN.com Timeout Chat Show on Wednesday, November 12 at 2 p.m. EST and answer questions from fans in the moderated chat room. Fans can send in their questions regarding Nelson and the upcoming Hawks' season by going to ESPN.com. Nelson, a candidate for National Player of the Year honors, has earned first-team All-America status in all of the major preseason publications. The 5-11 point guard averaged 19.7 points per game last year. The 17th-ranked Hawks open the 2003-04 season on Friday evening against #10 Gonzaga in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at Madison Square Garden, in what is becoming the marquee matchup of the four games. The Hawks and Bulldogs tip-off at 9 p.m. EST following the Pittsburgh vs. Alabama game at 7 p.m. On Thursday, November 13, play begins in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic as Memphis takes on Wake Forest, with St. John's vs. Marquette to follow.
