Antonio Aniello and
Jimmy Holland advanced to the Flight B quarterfinals in men's tennis action at yesterday's Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational. Holland, who received a bye in the first round, defeated St. Bonaventure's Andrew Hart, 6-1, 7-6 (7) to advance.
Aniello defeated Princeton's Blaise Goswami in the first round and St. John's Jonathan Skinner, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 to move on to the quarterfinals.
SJU's only entry in Flight A was junior
Van Homer Pangilinan. The Somers Point, N.J. native took a 6-3, 6-3 loss to Yale's Andrew Rosenfeld.
