Pat Carroll Named A-10 MVP by CollegeInsider.com

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's senior Pat Carroll was named the Most Valuable Player in the Atlantic 10 by CollegeInsider.com, as the website announced its annual list of college basketball awards.

Carroll is third leading scorer in the league, averaging 17.1 points per game. He leads the conference in 3-point field goal percentage (.447) and 3-point field goals made (3.67), and also 3-point shooting in conference games only (.513). The 6-5 senior is the Atlantic 10's top scorer in conference games with his average of 19.4 ppg.

Carroll has scored in double figures 20 times this season, including 13 consecutive.

He is Saint Joseph's all-time leader in 3-point field goals with 247 in his career.
