EASTON, Pa. (AP) - Ahmad Nivins and Rob Ferguson had 19 points each to lead Saint Joseph's to an 81-73 win over Lafayette on Friday.

Lafayette (1-3) got a team-high 17 points from Matt Betley, plus 13 from Bilal Abdullah and 11 from Jamaal Hilliard.

Jawan Carter added 18 for Saint Joseph's (2-0), which shot 55.1 percent. The Hawks also made more than half their 3-pointers, going 9-for-17.

The Leopards sank only 7-of-20 from 3-point range; overall, Lafayette shot 52.8 percent.
