PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse head coach Denise Roessler has announced the team's 2010 regular season schedule. The 16-game slate includes nine non-conference opponents and seven Atlantic 10 contenders. The Hawks will play seven home contests at Finnesey Field.

The 2010 season opens as the Hawks travel to Lafayette on February 20. After facing fellow neighbor, Drexel, SJU takes on Wagner in its home opener on February 27.

March opens the door to tough non-conference contenders such as Lehigh and Monmouth (NEC semifinalist), and right before conference play the Hawks go up against 2009 NCAA semifinalist Penn and Old Dominion (CAA semifinalist).

SJU opens it's Atlantic 10 play on March 26 at home against Duquesne before taking on 2009 Atlantic 10 tournament opponents, Richmond and UMass. The Hawks wrap up conference play at Temple.
