OLEAN, N.Y. - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team dropped a hard-fought match at St. Bonaventure, 1-0, Sunday afternoon. Senior goalkeeper Christine Neal made a game-high nine saves as SJU moves to 6-5-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the Atlantic 10.

Coming into the day undefeated in conference play and having posted two-straight shutouts, the Hawks got stellar play out of Neal as she made five saves in the opening half. Out shooting SJU 10-1 in the stanza, the Bonnies would snap the Hawks' scoreless streak as Caitlin MacConnell's shot found the back of the net at 42:30 to make it a 1-0 contest.

In the second period, the Hawks registered only two shots, while the host Bonnies kept Neal active with seven shots. While Neal posted four saves in the half, SJU could not generate a goal as the Hawks dropped their first A-10 game of the season.

The Hawks return to action this Friday when they host Massachusetts at 7 p.m.
