PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's men's basketball team has earned a bid to the NIT and will host St. John's on Tuesday, March 19 at Hagan Arena. Game time is 7 p.m. and the contest will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

The Hawks are the fourth seed in their bracket while the Red Storm (16-15) is the fifth seed. The Hawks are 18-13 and reached the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship, falling to VCU, 82-79.

This marks the second straight postseason bid for the Hawks and the 11th in head coach Phil Martelli's 18 seasons.

The winner of this game will play the winner of (8) Norfolk State at (1) Virginia at a date to be determined.

Additional individual game tickets are available and may be purchased beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18. Ticket prices are $30 and $20.
