C.J. Aiken to Leave SJU to Pursue Pro Basketball Career

PHILADELPHIA - Junior forward C.J. Aiken has decided to leave Saint Joseph's to pursue a professional basketball career.

"After lengthy meetings with C.J. Aiken and his family, C.J. has decided to pursue a career in professional basketball. There will always be a place in my heart for C.J. I wish him well in all his future endeavors," said coach Phil Martelli.

The 6-9 forward averaged 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots per game for the Hawks in 2012-13. He finished his career ranked second on SJU's all-time list for blocked shots with 319.
