Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year
2004-05: Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year and member of the All-Defensive Team for the second consecutive year... One of the top rebounders and shot blockers in the nation, ranking fifth in rebounds (11.6) and fifth in blocks (3.0)... Chosen to Atlantic 10 All-Conference 2nd Team and All-Big 5 2nd Team while posting career-best numbers in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots... Named to the Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team after averaging 10.0 points and 12.7 rebounds in the tournament... Earned NIT All-Tournament honors... Co-recipient of SJU's John P. Hilferty Award for the team's Most Valuable Player... Became first SJU player since 1995-96 to average a double-double in a season... Had 19 double-doubles on the year... His total of 418 rebounds is the second best single-season mark in school history, while his total of 109 blocks is the third best single-season total... 2003-04: Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team... Starter in all 32 games... Top shot blocker in the Atlantic 10 for the second year in a row with 1.97 per game... Also ranked 32nd in the NCAA stats... Team's leading rebounder with 7.0 per game... Averaged 6.4 ppg while shooting .545 percent from the field... Ranked 10th in the league in rebounding... Posted five blocks at Xavier... Ended string of three straight double-doubles at Richmond with 10 points and career-high 15 boards... Had career-high 23 points and 10 rebounds vs. GW... Posted first career double-double with then-career-high 14 points and 11 rebs at Delaware... Scored season-high 13 points on 6-for-7 shooting vs. San Francisco... Grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds against Penn... Opened the year with a career-high six blocks in the nationally-televised win over Gonzaga.
2002-03: Played in all 30 games, making one start... Led the Atlantic 10 Conference in blocked shots per game (2.0)... His total of 60 blocks is the second most by a freshman in SJU history (95 by Rodney Blake, 1984-85) and is tied for seventh most on the school's all-time season list...Just third freshman in SJU history to lead team in rebounding average joining Carlin Warley (9.0 rpg, 1991-92) and Norman Black (9.5 rpg, 1975-76)... His 6.3 average ranked eighth in the Atlantic 10, as he was the only reserve in the top 10... Became a force on the backboard down the stretch, pulling double figure rebounds in four of final seven games...Had six double-figure rebound games on season to lead team, including a season-high 14 boards in win over La Salle... Had a high of five blocks in both Rhode Island games... Made lone start of season in win over Rhode Island (2/1)... In loss at George Washington he tallied season-high 11 points, grabbed eight rebounds and blocked three shots while playing a season-high 32 minutes.

High School/Personal: Three-time first team All-Tri-State Christian Athletic Conference selection at American Christian... 2001 TSCAC Player of the Year...Tallied over 1700 points and 1200 rebounds... Averaged 25.8 points, 17.8 rebounds and 6.4 blocks per game as a senior... Twice led Delaware County area in points, rebounds and blocks per game...
