Jessica Blake, a former standout lacrosse player for the Hawks, is in her eighth year as an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's. Her tenure as an assistant is the longest in SJU women's lacrosse history.
A 1995 graduate of SJU, she was a member of the Hawks' first varsity team in 1993. In her senior season on Hawk Hill, she was the second leading scorer with 47 points (31 goals and 16 assists). Blake (nee Huffman) ended her career as a Hawk with 117 total points.
Graduating from Camden Catholic in 1991, she served as the co-head lacrosse coach for her high school alma mater from 1996-1998. Besides coaching lacrosse, she also served as the co-head field hockey coach for the 1997 and 1998 seasons.
Blake is a middle school teacher at Marlton Middle School in Marlton, N.J. She and her husband Matthew reside in Barrington, N.J. with their three childen, Aiden, McKenzie, and Keagan.
