The first coach in program history to lead SJU to back-to-back postseason appearances - in 2016 and 2017 - Kahoe has since led the Hawks to nine postseason appearances in a row, including the Atlantic10 title and the program's first NCAA berth in 2022.
At Saint Joseph's,
Alex Kahoe has coached 55 A-10 All-Conference selections, including the 2025 A-10 Defensive Player of the Year
Bella Miceli, the 2024 A-10 Goalkeeper of the Year
Jorden Concordia, the 2019, 2021 and 2022 A-10 Offensive Players of the Year in Francesca Donato, Stephanie Kelly and Lauren Figura, and the 2016 and 2023 A-10 Rookies of the Year in Rebecca Lane and

As a student-athlete, Kahoe was a standout goalkeeper at Maryland, graduating in 2002 as a five-time National Champion, a three-time All-American and a two-time NCAA Goalkeeper of the Year.
The PLA hosts the Hall of Fame induction ceremony every two years to honor the great players, coaches, officials, promoters, and others who have made significant contributions to the game in Pennsylvania and deserve the highest recognition. The incoming class was selected following a nomination and balloting process and a vote by the PLA Board of Directors, based on the recommendations of the Men's and Women's HOF Selection Committees, which conducted and supervised the process.
