WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse team earned the No. 5 seed in the Atlantic 10 Betterment Women's Lacrosse Championship and will face No. 4 seed Davidson in the quarterfinals on Thursday, April 30.
Richmond secured the No. 1 overall seed, while VCU claimed the No. 2 seed and the tournament's other first-round bye.
A three-team tiebreaker between Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure and Davidson — each finishing 6-3 in conference play — determined seeds three through five. The deadlock was broken by goal differential in head-to-head competition, with St. Bonaventure earning the No. 3 seed and Davidson taking No. 4.
Saint Joseph's (7-9) will play in the opening quarterfinal at noon against Davidson, with the winner advancing to face Richmond in the semifinals on Friday, May 1. St. Bonaventure will face No. 6 George Washington, with that winner moving on to play VCU.
The semifinal winners will meet in the championship game on Sunday at noon. The tournament champion will receive the Atlantic 10's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Tickets for the championship are available through the Davidson ticket office. All five games of the A-10 Betterment Women's Lacrosse Championship will be broadcast on ESPN+. For watch links, result, photos and more visit the
