Women’s Lacrosse Lands Four on Atlantic 10 All-Conference Teams

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse placed four student-athletes on the Atlantic 10 All-Conference teams, highlighted by two First Team selections, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Senior attacker Alexa Capozzoli and sophomore midfielder Emma Yoder earned First Team honors, while senior attacker Kate Fuhrman and senior defender Kaylyn Williams were named to the Second Team. Yoder was also recognized on the All-Academic Team.
 
Capozzoli capped her standout career with a First Team selection after starting all 16 games for the Hawks. She led the team with 64 points and 37 assists, adding 27 goals on the year. Capozzoli ranked third in the Atlantic 10 in assists per game and seventh in points per game, including 36 points (16G, 20A) in conference play. She recorded 10 games with multiple assists and six multi-goal performances, highlighted by a five-goal outing against Duquesne. Capozzoli also etched her name in the program record book, setting the career assists record while tying the program mark for career points entering postseason play.
 
Yoder emerged as a key two-way presence for the Hawks, starting all 16 games in her sophomore campaign. She totaled 16 goals and three assists while contributing across the field with 22 ground balls, 21 draw controls, and nine caused turnovers. Yoder posted five multi-goal games, including a hat trick against George Mason, and consistently impacted conference play with caused turnovers in six A-10 contests. Her performance in the classroom also earned her All-Academic honors.
 
Fuhrman earned Second Team recognition after leading the Hawks with 38 goals and finishing second on the team with 62 points and 24 assists. She ranked among the A-10 leaders, placing seventh in goals per game, eighth in assists per game, and fourth in points per game. Fuhrman recorded points in every game this season and tallied 10 multi-goal performances, including five-goal efforts against both George Mason and George Washington. She also delivered a nine-point performance (5G, 4A) against GW and contributed seven points (3G, 4A) against No. 2 Maryland.
 
Williams anchored the Hawks' defense en route to Second Team honors, starting all 16 games. She led the team with 24 caused turnovers and ranked second with 27 ground balls, while also adding 29 draw controls. Williams registered six multi-caused turnover games, including five contests with three or more, and forced 15 turnovers in conference play. Her top performances included four caused turnovers against VCU and three each against George Washington, La Salle, and St. Bonaventure.
