Women's Soccer Team's Unbeaten Streak Snapped at #20 Princeton

Women's Soccer Falls At Saint Louis, 3-0

ST. LOUIS - The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team fell at Saint Louis, 3-0, on Sunday.

After a scoreless first half, the host Billikens scored two quick goals to open a 2-0 edge. Olivia Petit made it 1-0 at 54:04, while Lauren Tondl converted a penalty kick at 55:56.

Saint Louis (11-1-1, 3-1-0 Atlantic 10) would add a third goal at 78:19 as Lindsay Sands scored.

For the game, the Billikens outshot the Hawks 20-12.

Individually, Grace Bendon made four saves for SJU, while Sofia Filippo had a team-best four shots.

The Hawks (6-4-1, 1-2-1 A-10) are back in action on Thursday at VCU.
