Women's Soccer Begins Road Swing Thursday At Rutgers

The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team begins a three-game road swing starting this Thursday at Rutgers at 7 p.m. The Hawks will then travel to James Madison on Sunday and Princeton the following Friday before returning home on September 6 to host Drexel.

ABOUT THE HAWKS
• Saint Joseph's enters the week with a 2-0-0 record after wins at Temple (2-1) and over Lehigh (2-0).
 The Hawks were ranked 10th in this week's United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll.
• With two assists last weekend, senior Paige Bergman set a new program record for career assists (19), passing SJU Hall of Famer Ellen Stenrud's mark of 18.
• Senior Hannah Racis, sophomore Morgan Bower and freshmen Mackenzie Ehresman and Aleksa Peev have each scored a goal so far for SJU.
• Senior goalkeeper Grace Bendon is tied for third all-time in wins (21), just two shy of the all-time mark (23).

• Rutgers opened the season with wins over Delaware (3-0) and Drexel (2-1).
• The Scarlet Knights were picked to finish third in the Big Ten.
