PHILADELPHIA – Chelsea Leal of the Saint Joseph's women's soccer team was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team as the conference announced its postseason awards on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The freshman from New York, N.Y. recorded six points on the strength of a goal and four assists. She notched her first career point, assisting on the game-tying goal against Towson on August 31. Later in the year, Leal tallied a point in three consecutive matches from October 11-19, including her first career goal at Dayton on October 11.
 
It is the third year in a row that the Hawks have placed a student-athlete on the A-10 All-Rookie Team, joining Emily Hanrahan in 2023 and Sarah Fisher in 2024.
