Box Score Fighting back from a 14-point first half deficit, the Saint Joseph's men's basketball team tied Saint Francis (Pa.) at 58 midway through the second half on a
Ryan Daly three-pointer. Unfortunately for the Hawks, the Red Flash scored 21 of the game's final 26 points to pull away for a 79-63 win on Saturday evening at Hagan Arena.
How It Happened
• Down 12 points early in the second half, the Hawks slowly chipped away at the Red Flash's lead with Daly capping a 7-0 run to tie the game at 58-58 with 8:12 to play.
• Following back-to-back baskets by Saint Francis (Pa.), Daly knocked down his third three-pointer to make it 62-61.
• The Red Flash pushed their lead to 66-61, but a pair of free throws by
Rahmir Moore made it 66-63 at the 3:57 mark.
• Saint Francis scored the next 13 points, and held the Hawks without a basket from that point to close out the game.
• After a back-and-forth start to the first half, Saint Francis opened a 34-20 edge with 3:00 to go in the half.
• Saint Joseph's ended the half on an 8-3 run to make it 37-28 at halftime.

• Saint Joseph's shot 31.3 percent (21-of-67) for the game, but converted just 25.8 percent (8-of-31) in the first half.
• The Hawks went 0-of-8 from the floor over the final 3:57, while Saint Francis (Pa.) was 4-of-6 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line.
