The Saint Joseph's men's basketball team fell at Big 5 rival Temple, 108-61, on Tuesday evening at the Liacouras Center.
How It Happened
• After a slow offensive start at both ends that saw Saint Joseph's down just 5-4, Temple used a 9-0 run to pull ahead, 14-4.
• A three-pointer by
Myles Douglas brought the Hawks back to within six, 18-12.
• The Owls scored the next 13 points to push their lead to 31-12, and took a 55-30 advantage into halftime.
• Temple carried momentum into the second half as the Owls opened with a 15-0 run and never allowed the Hawks to gain any momentum.

• In the first half, the Hawks hit 11-of-35 field goals for 31.4 percent, while Temple knocked down 21-of-31 for 67.7 percent.
• Temple continued its hot shooting in the second half as it hit 21-of-36 for 58.3 percent, and finished the game 42-of-67 for 62.7 percent.
• Saint Joseph's finished the game going 21-of-67 from the field for 31.3 percent and went 7-of-10 from the foul line.
• From outside, the Hawks connected on 12-of-42, one shy of the program record for attempts (43) set against Boston College on March 15, 1997.
• Temple went 8-of-15 from three-point range for 53.3 percent.
• The Owls outscored the Hawks 66-14 in the paint.
• Douglas led the Hawks with 14 points.
