How It Happened
• After a back-and-forth opening six minutes, Lafayette went on a 14-3 run to open a 30-18 advantage on the three-pointer by Myles Cherry.
• Following back-to-back baskets by Brown, the Leopards countered with a 16-2 run, opening a 46-24 lead.
• Down 49-26, the Hawks battled back and scored the final 16 points of the half as Daly hit a jumper at the buzzer to make it 49-42.
• Lafayette pulled away for good midway through the second half as the Leopards used a 16-2 run to open a 78-56, and allowed the Hawks to get no closer than 20 points.

• Saint Joseph's went 17-of-31 from the floor in the first half for 54.8 percent, but hit just 8-of-29 in the second half (27.6 percent).
• For the game, the Hawks shot 41.7 percent (25-of-60), while Lafayette shot 54.8 percent (24-of-62).
• The Leopards finished the game 14-of-28 from three-point range, with Saint Joseph's knocking down 8-of-27 (29.6 percent).
• Daly's 25 points marked the sixth time this season he has reached the 20-point plateau in a game.
