• Daly scored the first 11 points for the Hawks, with Cameron Brown capping the run at 4:22 with a three-pointer to make it 76-64 in favor of SJU.
• Penn cut the deficit to four in the final minute, but Saint Joseph's secured the victory at the line hitting 5-of-6 free throws.
• In the first half, the Hawks used a 16-0 run to break a 14-14 tie and take a 30-14 lead on a three-pointer by Lorenzo Edwards at 10:09.
• The Quakers rallied before halftime and scored 12 of the final 14 points to cut Saint Joseph's lead to 46-40.
