Saint Joseph's
Anthony Longpré scored a career-high 15 points and added 10 rebounds, but the Hawks' men's basketball team fell at George Washington, 85-69, Saturday afternoon at the Charles E. Smith Center.
How It Happened
• The Colonials jumped out to an 11-3 lead as the Hawks were held to 1-of-6 from the field, while George Washington went 5-of-8.
• George Washington pushed its lead to as many as 24 in the first half, before taking a 46-25 lead into halftime.
• A 7-0 run midway through the second half brought Saint Joseph's to within 58-43 on a three-pointer by
Cameron Brown.
• The Hawks would get no closer than 14 on a layup by
Dennis Ashley in the final minute.

• For the game, Saint Joseph's shot 43.6 percent from the field (24-of-55), 36 percent from three-point range (9-of-25), and connected on 12-of-18 from the foul line.
• After shooting 34.6 percent in the first half (9-of-26), Saint Joseph's shot 51.7 percent (15-of-29) in the second half and out scored George Washington 44-39.
• The Colonials shot 55.4 percent from the field (31-of-56), 47.6 percent from behind the arc (10-of-21), and 56.5 percent from the foul line (13-of-23).
