AMHERST, Mass. - Saint Joseph's
Ryan Daly finished with a team-high 22 points, but UMass shot 63.3 percent from the field to earn a 91-76 victory over the Hawks Wednesday night at the Mullins Center.
How It Happened
• The Hawks had the hot hand early as they jumped out to a 10-point lead, 25-15, on a three-pointer by
Rahmir Moore at 11:05 of the first half.
• UMass responded with a 16-2 run over the next six minutes as Dibaji Walker put the Minutemen ahead 31-27.
• Ahead 45-43, the Minutemen pushed their lead to 59-45 on a Carl Pierre three-pointer at the 13:55 mark of the second half.
• Saint Joseph's would get no closer than 11 from there as UMass finished the second half shooting 72.4 percent from the field (21-of-29).

• Saint Joseph's posted its second-best shooting percentage of the season going 28-of-67 from the floor for 49.1 percent.
• The Minutemen finished the game going 38-of-60 from the field, and turned 16 SJU turnovers into 18 points.
• The Hawks went 9-of-25 from behind the arc (36 percent), while UMass connected on 6-of-16 (37.5 percent).
• Daly reached the 20-point mark for the 13th time this season as he added a team-best six assists and tied
Toliver Freeman with a team-high seven rebounds.
• Moore came off the bench to score 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including 3-of-3 from distance and 3-of-4 from the foul line.

Cameron Brown was the third Hawk in double figures as he finished with 12 points.
