After a close first period that saw Saint Joseph's take a three-point lead into halftime, visiting St. Bonaventure used a strong second-half performance to pull away for a 74-56 victory Tuesday evening at Hagan Arena.
How It Happened
• In a back-and-forth first half that featured seven lead changes and four ties, the Hawks tallied the final four points of the stanza to take a 34-31 lead into the lockerroom.
• St. Bonaventure scored the opening eight points of the second half en route to a 13-3 run to take a 44-37 lead with 16:59 to play.

Ryan Daly cut the Hawks' deficit to four, 46-42, with a basket in the lane less than 50 seconds later.
• The Bonnies countered with a 9-0 run to open a 55-42 advantage and never allowed Saint Joseph's to get closer than 10 points from there.

• Daly reached the 20-point mark for the 16th time this season as he finished with a game-high 21 points to go with a team-best four assists and added four rebounds.

Myles Douglas finished with 10 points and a pair of rebounds in a reserve role.
