Lorenzo Edwards added 10 points, however the Saint Joseph's men's basketball team fell at city rival La Salle, 83-66, on Saturday evening at Tom Gola Arena.
How It Happened
• After a back-and-forth start to the contest, the Explorers used a 15-0 run to open a 28-11 lead on a three-pointer by Saul Phiri at 7:00.
• The Hawks battled back to make it 39-29 on a pair of free throws by
Rahmir Moore, but the Explorers hit a three-pointer to beat the halftime buzzer and take a 34-29 advantage into the second period.
• An Edwards layup with 10:18 to play brought Saint Joseph's within nine, 53-44, but the Hawks would come no closer.

• Daly reached the 20-point mark for the 15th time this season as he went 9-of-16 from the field, 3-of-7 from behind the arc and 5-of-5 from the foul line for 26 points.
• Edwards added 10 points, three rebounds and a blocked shot in a reserve role.
• Moore led the Hawks with seven rebounds, chipped in with eight points and an assist, and matched his season-high of steals with three.
• As a team, Saint Joseph's shot 36.2 percent from the floor (21-of-58), 25 percent from three-point range (6-of-25) and 81.8 percent from the foul line (18-of-22).
• La Salle finished the game shooting 45 percent overall (27-of-60), 43.3 percent from distance (13-of-30) and 66.7 percent from the line (16-of-24).
