Saint Joseph's freshman
Jordan Hall matched his season-high with 17 points, but the Hawks fell to Richmond, 79-56, on Tuesday evening at Hagan Arena.
How It Happened
• In a game that featured seven lead changes over the opening seven minutes, a three-pointer by
Dahmir Bishop put the Hawks ahead 13-12 in the early stages.
• Behind a 16-2 run over the next six minutes, Richmond opened a 28-15 advantage on a layup by Nathan Cayo at 7:55.
• Saint Joseph's cut the Spiders' lead to seven, 34-27, on a pair of free throws by
Rahmir Moore with 2:44 to go in the opening half.
• Richmond scored six of the final 10 points of the period to take a 40-31 lead into the second half.
• The Spiders pushed their lead to 12 points to start the final half, but a jumper by
Jadrian Tracey brought the Hawks back to within 43-33.
• The two teams continued to trade baskets over the next 14 minutes, but a 7-0 run by Richmond pushed the visitor's lead to 71-50 on a basket by Blake Francis at 4:19
• Saint Joseph's would get no closer than 18 points in the final minutes.

• Hall, who handed out a team-high three assists, finished the game 6-13 from the field, 3-6 from three-point range and 2-2 from the foul line.
