Women's Soccer Falls To Saint Louis, 2-0

Saint Joseph's goalkeeper Katie Cappelletti matched her season-high with 11 saves, but the Hawks' women's soccer team fell to Saint Louis, 2-0, Thursday evening at Sweeney Field.

How It Happened
• Saint Louis' Abbie Miller put her team ahead 1-0 just 12:56 into the match as her shot from inside the box snuck inside the right post.
• Miller extended the Billikens' lead to 2-0 at 39:42 with a strike from the left side of the box.
• Cappelletti stood tall making five of her game-high 11 saves in the second half, but Saint Louis held the Hawks without a quality scoring opportunity in the final period.

Inside The Boxscore
Izzy Greene, Natalie Nevins and Nicole Angelini each recorded a shot for the Hawks.
• Cappelletti previously recorded 11 saves this season versus Maryland.
