WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team put up a strong effort, but a pair of second-half goals by host George Washington proved to be the difference as the Colonials topped the Hawks, 2-0, Sunday afternoon at Mount Vernon Soccer Field.

• George Washington's Alicia Window put her team up 1-0 at 58:29.
• An offsides call in the 78th minute erased a Colonial goal off a corner kick.
• Beth Ellinport added an insurance goal for George Washington in the 82nd minute to make it 2-0.
