Jordan Hall scored a career-high 24 points and added a team-high 10 rebounds and five assists, but Monmouth held off the Hawks for an 87-75 victory at Hagan Arena on Saturday afternoon.
How It Happened
• Monmouth jumped out to a 9-4 edge just under four minutes into the contest.
• A three-pointer by Hall sparked a 19-3 run by St. Joe's.

Taylor Funk capped the run with a pair of free throws that gave the Hawks a 23-12 lead at the 8:54 mark.
• Down 29-21, Monmouth ended the first half on a 16-5 run as the visitors took a 37-34 lead into halftime.
• Monmouth extended its lead to 48-39, but the Hawks countered with a 10-4 run as a three-pointer by Hall made it 52-49 with 13:35 to go.
• Scores in back-to-back possessions extended Monmouth's lead to 57-49.
• The Hawks cut their deficit to four, 64-60, but would get no closer.
