Women’s Basketball Eyes Fourth Straight Win on Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's women's basketball is eyeing its fourth-straight win Tuesday afternoon as Vanderbilt comes to Philadelphia for a pre-Christmas matinee. Tipoff is slated for noon with the game airing nationally on ESPN+ and internationally through the Atlantic 10.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • St. Joe's is on a three-game win streak after defeating Yale, Penn, and Temple.
  • The Hawks are scoring 59.6 ppg, allowing 59.7 ppg, and shooting 39.7% from the floor, 32.8% from deep, and 70.9% from the charity stripe.

  • Junior Kaliah Henderson is second on the team with 9.9 ppg and 4.9 rpg.
  • Graduate student Alayna Gribble is third overall with 9.3 points per game. She adds a team best 5.0 rebounds per game.
  • Fair is scoring 7.6 points on average and pulling down 4.3 boards. The rookie has flourished in the Hawks last three games with 12.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per outing.
  • Overall, St. Joe's is outscoring its opponents 69.3 to 60.7 on the win streak and shooting an impressive 45.3% from the field and the same 45.3% from long range.
